I have been making versions of this cobbler for years. We often make it in our Dutch Ovens. Tonight I did an indoor version in a glass dish and my oven.
What you’ll need:
~A can of soda
~A box of cake mix
~ A jar/can of fruit
What you’ll do:
Pour fruit into bottom of dish
Pour Dry cake mix onto fruit -DO NOT STIR!!!
Pour about a can of soda on top of the cake mix.
It will look like this with the soda. (if you want you can sprinkle some brown sugar on top)
Bake at 350 degrees until you can smell it. (about 30-40 minutes)
Once you pull it out of the oven it will look like this.
Serve with ice cream!!!
Some variations
Peaches, yellow cake, cream soda ~ the one I did in this pic
Cherries, chocolate cake, coke
Apples, spice cake, sprite
Any variety you can think of.
