We had our first 4H cooking class. We just have a family club, but we invited some friends to join us.
We learned about proper set up, cleanliness and measuring. Then we tried our hand at some recipes.
First we made Utterly delicious smoothies.
You take a scoop of ice cream and some juice, and squish it together in a baggie. (It is supposed to represent milking a cow, I guess)
Next we practiced the measuring skills we just learned and made Chex Muddy Buddies.
All the kids loved baggie mixing.
And it made clean up a breeze!

What a neat, yummy & clean idea! Since my husband and I have chosen to take a year or so and see this country of ours via our travel trailer, kids in tow ;) I havn't wanted to incorprate anything extra in our homeschooling unless its easy and mess free.However, this looks perfect! Thanks again for the idea :)
